Partner Pulse: How VASS is Navigating LATAM’s Digital Divide

Advantages of Public Cloud Deployment

Among the different types of deployment options (on-premise, managed hosting, private cloud, etc.), public cloud deployment can be highly valuable to enterprises for the following reasons:

  1. Cost Savings: Deploying through a public cloud solution reduces infrastructure costs as well as IT spending and maintenance. When factoring in hardware expenses, such as electricity bills and upgrades, a cloud solution delivers business value faster and with less associated costs. According to a recent TechTarget survey, more than 31% said that the main reason for using a public cloud was for a

    Key Challenges in the LATAM Market:

    • Greater FlexibilitySkills Gap: A shortage of trained professionals slows transformation efforts.

    • Price Sensitivity: Clients expect fast results at low cost – often an unrealistic combination.

    • Market Fragmentation: Cultural and regulatory differences across countries require localized approaches. For instance, decision-making speed differs: while Colombia and Mexico tend to move quickly, countries like Bolivia or Peru may take longer.
       

  2. Priorities for 2025. Looking ahead, VASS is focusing on helping customers see beyond traditional CMS platforms. “We want to show the value of centralized, orchestrated, omnichannel experiences that a DXP can deliver,” says Sergio. Educating the market on the difference between CMS and DXP is a top priority.
